Lord Ganesh died? How?

 Do you know when the laddu lover god, Lord Ganesha died?

Lord Ganesha is son of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati. They are believed to stay at Kailash Parvat. He was beheaded by his own dad when he was small. Maa Parvati created Ganesha with her powers and asked him to take care that no one enters home. As Maa Parvati went for bathing, Lord Ganesh stood for duty. Lord Shiva came back home and was enetering home and he was stopped by Ganesha. Not realizing that he his son, he cut his head in anger. 

Maa Paravati saw his son without head and hot vey angry at Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva then understood what Lord Ganesh was stopping him from entering the home. He promised Maa Parvati that he will repair the loss. He went to find a head and he saw baby elephant. He cut the baby elephant heda and put that on Lord Ganesha. 

Maa Parvati again got upset that who will respect or worship a elephant looking lord. At that time Lord Shiva promised Maa Parvati that he will be the first Lord to worship by all devotees.   

That is why people always worship Lord Ganesha before any other god before puja. Infact it is said that if you recite Ganesh Chalisa everyday. It has great benefits. There are many tales about Lord Ganesh like Lord Ganesh has 3 wives, the legend of lord Ganesh and his mouse, etc. But my most favourite is how Ganesha died.
